The NonProfit Leader

The Challenge

Many nonprofit executives feel like their jobs are never done. There will always be: more constituents to serve, more money to raise, more volunteers that need attention, more staff to shepherd, more fires to put out…

Juggling all of these roles can exhaust CEO creativity and productivity, and ultimately affect the organization’s potential for growth.

Through time-tested materials and methods, The Nonprofit Leader™ offers one solution after another to simplify the nonprofit leaders’ world, while significantly improving their focus and productivity.

The Program

The Nonprofit Leader™ is a one-year coaching program that helps chief executives of nonprofit organizations excel in their professional and personal lives.

This is not a “boot camp” type of program. Rather, it’s a year-long process to help nonprofit CEOs create a roadmap for success. Participants learn to clear out professional and personal clutter and set the course for simplicity and productivity in all aspects of their lives.

The camaraderie developed among participants is one of the valuable outcomes of the program. The ultimate goal of the program is to expand the overall influence of nonprofits; to help them reach and affect more people.

Participants can earn a strong return on their investment with this exceptional leadership program. The program advocates a shift in thinking and actions that will help position nonprofit leaders for continued success.

How does the program work?

Participants in The Nonprofit Leader™ meet twice for intensive group workshops with other dedicated, like-minded nonprofit leaders. Workshops consist of a series of relevant teachings, worksheet exercises, planning activities and positive progress reviews. An important element of these workshops is peer-to-peer sharing, which enhances learning and accountability.

The program team is committed to providing great value to participants of The Nonprofit Leader™. If this program is the right fit for you, you’ll receive:

  • 2 Group Workshops per year (maximum group size is 25) held Washington, DC.
  • 10 group training/coaching tele-sessions after Workshop 1.
  • 10 group training/coaching tele-sessions after Workshop 2.

The tele-sessions focus on applying the principles outlined in the prior workshop, in addition to occasionally consisting of teaching lessons from subject matter experts in the areas of leadership, philanthropy and personal development.

  • A one-on-one Progress Coaching Session (via phone) after Workshop 1.
  • A one-on-one Progressity Coaching Session (via phone) after Workshop 2.

Where and when are the two group workshops?

During the course of the one-year program, participants attend two focused workshops. We take great care to create an educational experience that is inspiring, rejuvenating and thought provoking.
