rebranding Leadership West Virginia
When Leadership West Virginia needed a fresh identity, they came to Progressity for help.
First, Creative Director Michael Teel designed a new logo. He used a trail of light to reflect the thought provoking and challenging process the program provides participants and a starburst to represent the emerging leaders who graduate from the program. “One can’t help but feel the energy in the logo, and understand that Leadership West Virginia is providing energetic and ‘explosive’ leadership for the future,” said Leadership West Virginia Executive Director Pam Farris.
The next step was for Progressity, in partnership with Internet Research Corporation (IRC), of Weston, WV, to redesign Leadership West Virginia’s website, giving it a more dynamic look with easy navigation. Progressity worked on the frontend design while IRC developed the backend programming to allow program participants and alumni to update their profiles and keep their contact information current.
The final stage of Progressity’s work was to carry over the new design to the organization’s collateral materials. The ultimate result? A dynamic new brand for an organization that helps to make West Virginia a more vibrant place to live and work.
