campaign planning for opening a modern classic
The Kanawha County Public Library and the Library Foundation of Kanawha County called on Progressity to raise the visibility of their “Open a Modern Classic” campaign.
Their ambitious $50 million plan was developed over a decade ago to fund a new library in downtown Charleston, two new branch libraries in Kanawha County and the expansion of four existing Kanawha County branches.
Progressity worked with staff and campaign volunteers beginning in June 2006 to develop and implement a successful fundraising strategy. Through developing a new campaign marketing brochure, Progressity created a compelling case for why the project is critical to a vibrant Kanawha Valley.
The campaign coffers are now over halfway full, ending the threat of area library extinction. Libraries are emerging into the proverbial “living room” of a thriving community.
