Kathleen founded Progressity, Inc. on October 5, 2001. After leading and championing the firm for more than 16 years she now serves on the senior management team of SHPE: Leading Hispanics in STEM.

Kathleen is a passionate and compassionate visionary, coach and change agent. She knows how to do the right things for her clients.
Kathleen's forte is working with nonprofit and corporate executives who have a big vision and need outside expertise to design a plan, build the team, develop the brand, raise the money and apply savvy project management strategies to create rapid forward movement. She is skilled at bringing people together around a common vision and mentoring individuals and teams to excel.
Clients have included the likes of the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Department of Energy, the Girl Scouts, The Greenbrier Resort and the global nonprofit, the Guardian Angels. She has guided the raising of more than $100 million for various organizations and has been a keynote speaker and trainer for hundreds of audiences. Her acumen, strategic thinking and creativity have guided transformational results for academic institutions, nonprofits, government agencies, economic development organizations and small businesses.
Prior to founding Progressity, Kathleen held leadership positions in Morgantown, West Virginia with the West Virginia University College of Engineering & Mineral Resources and the West Virginia University Foundation. She also served as chief advancement officer for the prestigious Ellis School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
As a member of the renowned John Maxwell Team, Kathleen is part of a global corps of executive coaches and trainers who have been certified by Maxwell to teach his materials and administer the 360 Leadership Assessment Tool. She has coached and advised executives and entrepreneurs from 12 countries.
Kathleen holds a graduate degree in Corporate and Organizational Communication. She is a certified trainer in nonprofit leadership, a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and a graduate of two management leadership programs: Robert Morris College (Pittsburgh, PA) and Leadership West Virginia.
